A vlogger died in a vehicular accident at Barangay Calubang in Negros Occidental’s Ilog town early Saturday morning, February 17.

Ilog police chief, Major Joseph Partidas, said the victim was identified as 20-year-old Neil Villarma, a resident of the town’s Purok Bonifacio.

Partidas said Villarma was supposed to return home from Kabankalan City.

Due to excessive speed, his motorcycle crashed into the road railing, which resulted in fatal injuries to his head and neck.

He was rushed to Lorenzo Zayco District Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Partidas said Villarma was under the influence of alcohol.

Police said the victim would often return to his home in late evening or early morning./JB, WDJ
