An estimated P1.4 million worth of suspected shabu was seized during a drug buy-bust operation in Bacolod City’s Barangay 7 early yesterday morning.

Police arrested live-in partners Rhodora Madreniño and Romel Alfrar, both residents of Purok Magnolia.

Lt. Joeven Mogato, Bacolod City Police Office-Drug Enforcement Unit head, said they recovered 200 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1,400,800.

They also confiscated a loaded 9mm pistol with five live bullets.

Madreniño and Alfrar are facing charges for illegal drugs and illegal possession of firearms./DGB, WDJ
