The Collective Negotiations Agreement (CNA) for employees of the Negros Occidental provincial government was signed by Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson and the Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees (PACE) on Friday, October 27.
Through the CNA, provincial government employees are guaranteed to receive a P25,000 bonus each and six filial leaves annually.
PACE president Engineer Ruben Diamante said the CNA will be in effect from 2024 to 2026.
The provincial government and PACE have agreed on some changes to the new CNA, including the addition of filial leaves that can be availed by both managerial and rank-and-file employees.
The agreement will benefit 2,012 permanent and 706 casual employees of the provincial government./DGB, WDJ
