Nine business establishments in Bacolod City are now facing closure for failing to secure a mayor’s permit, the City Legal Office (CLO) said.

The closure will be held on Monday, October 16, in the city’s Barangay Mansilingan.

CLO head Romeo Carlos Ting, Jr. said they have ordered the closure of the establishments after the first and second notices of violation have already been served to them.

“We noticed that they did not make any effort to process their business permit,” Ting said.

The business establishments were restaurants, he added.

Meanwhile, the Business Permit and Licensing Office is monitoring 50 other businesses for the same violation.

Earlier, the CLO served 40 notices of violation to different business establishments in the city following an inspection.
