A salesman was dead on the spot after his tricycle crashed into a bus at Barangay Cabacungan’s Sitio Cambagting in Negros Occidental’s La Castellana town on Sunday, July 16.

The victim was identified as 42-year-old Anthony Paulan, a resident of the town’s Barangay Guinpana-an.

The bus, driven by 38-year-old Alberto Recomo of Barangay Linuthangan in Negros Oriental’s Canlaon City, was bound for Moises Padilla town when the tricycle was going in the opposite direction, town police said.

The victim’s family will file no charges against Recomo, police added./WDJ
