A man who reportedly went home drunk was found dead at Barangay Dian-ay in Negros Occidental’s Escalante City on Saturday morning, May 13.

Police identified the victim as 42-year-old Epineto Palacios, who was found dead in Sitio Lagawon, approximately 500 meters from his house.

Escalante police chief, Police Major John Ganzon, said Palacios’ forehead seemed to have been hit by a hard object.

Police are still investigating the incident, whether someone had hit him or if he accidentally tripped on his way home./WDJ
