BCPO launches e-sabong hotlines

The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) is encouraging residents to report any illegal e-sabong, or electronic cockfighting activities in the city.

BCPO acting director, Police Colonel Noel Aliño earlier this week presented to Bacolod City Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez the e-sabong hotlines.

Aliño assured the public that all given hotlines are serviceable and ready to receive reports through call or text to prevent the proliferation of illegal gambling activities in the city.

Benitez appreciated Aliño for the hotlines.

Meanwhile, Aliño handed over to Benitez the drug test results of the 43 commissioned police officers during the press conference.

The results showed that all police officers, including Aliño, tested negative for illegal drugs.

The drug test was in line with the Internal Cleansing Program of the Police Regional Office in Western Visayas./MS, WDJ
