A priest, who faces a rape charge, was arrested at Camelot Subdivision in Bacolod City’s Barangay Estefania, early Monday night, March 27.

Arrested was 62-year-old Fr. Conrado Mantac of Barangay Balatocan in Romblon’s Looc town.

Mantac had a pending warrant of arrest for rape issued by Executive Judge Reginald Fuentebella of the Sagay Regional Trial Court Branch 73, Sagay City Police Station said.

He is detained at the custodial facility of the city police station.

No bail is recommended for his temporary liberty./DGB, WDJ
