Four individuals were arrested in a drug buy-bust operation in Negros Occidental’s Kabankalan City on Monday afternoon, March 27.

Arrested were 42-year-old Antonio Pineda, 24-year-old Kent John Lisas, 22-year-old Georgie Omdac, and 21-year-old Alexes Besas, all residents of the city’s Barangay 6.

Police said Pineda was identified as a drug-den maintainer.

Authorities confiscated 10 grams of suspected shabu worth P68,000.

The suspects were detained in the local police station pending the filing of charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./MS, WDJ
