Ten individuals were charged with violation of Presidential Decree 1602, or the gambling law at Barangay Alijis in Negros Occidental’s Valladolid town on Monday afternoon, March 13.

They were Jonalyn Arcala, Julie Miranda, Rubelyn Espuerta, Joy Cabrillos, Estrella Monday, Neleza Gange, Roden Porquez, Fortunate Espuerta, Maria Luz Porquez, and a minor.

All were residents of the locality.

Police confiscated gambling paraphernalia and P280 in bet money./MS, WDJ
