A man was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation at Barangay 2 in Negros Occidental’s La Carlota City on Tuesday afternoon, February 7.

Police seized P60,800 worth of suspected shabu from Romeo Paron, Jr., 50 years old, a junk shop owner and a resident of the said place.

La Carlota City police chief, Colonel Lowell Garinganao said they recovered two sachets of suspected shabu, a P500 buy-bust money and a coin purse.

Paron is currently detained at the city police station./WDJ
