The Land Transportation Office (LTO) in Bacolod City will begin operating in their new office on February 6.
LTO-Bacolod chief Renato Novero said on Friday, January 27, they will be accommodating vehicle registration at their new field office located at Sitio Manayawsayaw in the city’s Mansilingan village.
The LTO’s licensing division would be able to transfer to the new office in two weeks’ time.
Novero noted that the internet connection, furniture and fixtures are already in place in the facility.
They will close down their operations at their old office by February 3.
The new LTO office has a larger impounding area and also has a large parking space for vehicles.
In December of last year, Negros Occidental provincial administrator Atty. Rayfrando Diaz revealed the provincial government spent P33.34 million on the new LTO building in Barangay Mansilingan.
On the other hand, the old LTO building, along the city’s Cottage Road, will be converted into a multi-use building, possibly CyberCentre 2./DGB, WDJ
