The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) Station 2 will begin regular patrolling near the homes of the alleged drug suspects listed on a piece of paper which was included with severed human hands.

However, BCPO Station 2 commander, Capt. Jonito Pastrana admitted that they would not be able to fully monitor the listed persons due to their considerable numbers.

Pastrana said the 22 persons on the list are from Barangay 2’s puroks Kagaykay and Sigay.

He added the individuals on the list have nothing to worry about as long as they stop getting involved not just in illegal drugs, but in other illicit activities.

Meanwhile, the police are still determining whom the severed hands belong to.

Earlier on Wednesday, one of the drug suspects on the list, alias “Mary Rose,” surfaced and sought help from the authorities, fearing that she could be targeted next.

“Mary Rose” admitted to using illegal drugs in the past and had served prison time for a drug-related charge in 2019.

She was released in 2020 after securing a plea bargain and is still under probation.

However, “Mary Rose” claimed that she had no longer engaged in illegal drug activities since her release.

She expressed alarm that her name was still included, prompting her to seek help.

Pastrana said some of the individuals on the list were drug surrenderers, while others were no longer residing in the village./DGB, WDJ
