The Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) is finalizing their security preparations for the Bacolaodiat Festival from January 19 to 22.

Colonel Joseph Thomas Martir, BCPO director, said in a radio interview that they have already prepared their security and deployment plans.

Martir said 110 BCPO personnel, who are currently reassigned to help oversee the security of the Dinagyang Festival in Iloilo City, and the Ati-atihan Festival in Kalibo, will be able to return just in time for the Bacolaodiat Festival.

Martir said they also asked for an augmentation force from the Police Regional Office in Western Visayas for the festival./DGB, WDJ
