Classes in all public schools in Bacolod City are set to resume on January 4, following the Christmas and New Year’s Day school break.
In a radio interview, Bacolod Teachers Federation President Richard Gelangre said teachers are set to return to work on January 3 to prepare for the resumption of classes.
Gelangre said uniforms among students in the city’s public schools are not required.
As for the usual problems in public schools, Gelangre pointed out that some of the public schools still do not have enough teachers.
Health protocols are still being followed in full face-to-face classes.
So far, there are no students or teaching staff tested positive for COVID-19, he said./DGB, WDJ
