Slain Northern Negros Electric Cooperative (Noneco) General Manager Atty. Danny Pondevilla was laid to rest on Monday afternoon, December 26.

Prior to his burial, a mass was held at the Redemptorist Church in Bacolod City, and Pondevilla was brought to his final resting place at the Rolling Hills Memorial Park.

His burial was attended by officials from Noneco and the Central Negros Electric Cooperative (Ceneco).

Pondevilla was previously the general manager of Ceneco.

He was shot dead last December 21 along the city’s 16th Lacson Street.

A Special Investigation Task Group has already been formed by the Bacolod City Police Office to probe the power executive’s murder and so far they are currently looking at work-related issues as the motive./DGB, WDJ
