The House of Representatives Committee on Energy is set to hear an inquiry regarding the complaints hounding the Central Negros Electric Cooperative (CENECO) on November 29.

In a radio interview, Bacolod City lone district Congressman Greg Gasataya said he was informed of the schedule by Committee on Energy chairperson Marinduque lone district Congressman Lord Allan Jay Velasco.

Gasataya is now calling on consumers and energy advocates to support the inquiry to find answers to the arguments and issues over CENECO.

Among the issues currently plaguing CENECO consumers are the incessant power outages, and the power cooperative’s high power rates.

The said inquiry was pushed under House Resolution No. 475./DGB, WDJ
