Multicab catches fire in Bacolod

A multicab caught fire along a road near a shopping mall on San Juan Street in Bacolod City’s Barangay 8 yesterday morning.

Based on a report released by the Bureau of Fire Protection, the multicab, owned and driven by Antonio Varona Benitez, Sr., was traveling along the street when smoke suddenly appeared in the vehicle’s front compartment.

The driver immediately exited the vehicle as flames started gutting inside of the multicab.

Firefighters were able to immediately douse the blaze.

No one was hurt in the vehicular fire and damage was pegged at P1,000 only./DGB, WDJ
