As of 3:00 p.m. yesterday, 101,809 of the region’s residents have already received the COVID-19 vaccine in more than 500 vaccination sites in the region, according to the data released by the Department of Health Region 6 (DOH-6) Center for Health Development.

The DOH-6 again encouraged the public to coordinate with their local government units (LGUs) for the schedule and the vaccination venues.

“Our vaccination sites are open to all eligible population aged 12 years old and up be it their first, second, or booster doses among health care workers, senior citizens and persons with comorbidities,” the DOH-6 said.

The regional health office has also recognized the support of all their partners from other national government and non-government agencies, civil society organizations, religious sectors, and the LGUs for their massive vaccination campaign.

“Magpabakuna na para maging ligtas, lakas ang buong ‘Pinas,” the DOH-6 added./DGB, WDJ
