Sumunod din sila sa social distancing. “I am certain that the Constitution does not preclude me, even as a chief justice, from believing in a God, and if my presence this morning is questioned, as appearing to be violative of the Constitution, particularly the separation of the church and state, then here, I may invoke my position and apply legal reasoning,” ayon pa kay Gesmundo. Niliwanag niyang bagamat sa pangkalahatan ay ipinagbabawal nga ng Saligang Batas ang anumang ugnayan sa pagitan ng gobyerno at ng relihiyon kung pamamahala sa gobyerno ang pag-uusapan, nagbibigay naman ito ng pahintulot sa ating kalayaang manampalataya, makisama sa ibang mga kapwa mananampalataya, at tumupad sa mga gawain ng ating mga relihiyon. Magkaganunman, sabi ni Gesmundo, ang kaniyang mga pagpapahayag sa PNPB 46th anniversary ay patungkol sa isyu ng pananampalataya, hindi sa isyu ng batas o ng pamahalaan. Partikular na tinutukan ni Gesmundo ang mga pangako ng Diyos na Siya ang magbibigay ng lahat ng kailangan ng kaniyang mananampalataya, ayon sa Filipos 4:19. *** MGA PAGPAPALA AT BIYAYANG IPINANGAKO NG DIYOS, DARATING LAMANG SA MGA TUNAY NA NAKIKINIG AT SUMUSUNOD SA KANIYANG MGA UTOS: Mayroong humigit-kumulang sa 7,000 pangako ang Diyos na nakasulat sa Bibliya, ayon kay Chief Justice Gesmundo. Sa simpleng pang-unawa, makikita natin, dagdag ni Gesmundo, na sa bawat biyayang ipinapangako ng Diyos, mayroon siyang ibinababang kondisyon. Ang kondisyon, pagdidiin ng punong mahistrado, ay ang pakikinig at pagsunod ng mga tao sa mga utos ng Diyos. “Parang du et facias, facias et dus (sa batas), if you do this, I do that, if you do that, I do this,” sabi niya. Ang mga Kadugo ng Simbahang Anak Ng Diyos Kadugo Ni Kristo (Simbahang AND KNK) na tumutok sa talumpati ni Gesmundo ay parang iisang taong nagbunyi sa tinuran niyang ito, dahil ang mensahe niya ay siyang matagal ng ipinapahayag ng AND KNK sa mga palatuntunan nito sa kadugo dot net.
