Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz said those who are unvaccinated as well as minors aged 12 years old and above are still a priority for the Negros Occidental provincial government even though they have already started distributing COVID-19 booster shots for frontline healthcare workers last Wednesday.
According to Diaz, the nine capitol-owned hospitals will serve as hubs for the distribution of COVID-19 booster shots among the province’s healthcare workers.
There are currently 1,700 frontline healthcare workers employed in the nine hospitals.
Earlier on Wednesday, November 17, the Teresita Lopez Jalandoni Provincial Hospital began administering booster shots to its staff using the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine./DGB, WDJ
