An engineer of the Provincial Engineer’s Office (PEO) has been ordered dismissed from service by Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson after he was found guilty of administrative offenses.

Among the complaints was an incident report submitted by capitol security guards alleging that while under the influence of alcohol, he reportedly disturbed the joggers and zumba dancers, violated health protocols and urinated inside the Capitol Lagoon Park.

A separate complaint was also received by the PHRMO wherein he allegedly harassed several individuals at a restaurant near the Bacolod City Manokan Country.

A third complaint was also received wherein a blotter from the E.B. Magalona Police Station and the incident report submitted by the staff nurse of the E.B. A fourth incident report submitted by Engr. Sanny Balinas of the PEO, Motorpool Division from August 25, 2021 reported that he was again under the influence of alcohol and exhibited violent behavior towards the personnel present at the motorpool compound.

In the notice of termination, Nellas said Barredo’s past and current actions have proven that he has gone past reason and has become a danger to his “peers and society.”
