Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson yesterday led the distribution of insurance benefits worth a total of P1.1 million to the families of barangay tanods, officials, employees, and health workers enrolled in the provincial government’s Barangay Insurance Program.

The beneficiaries are from the towns of Calatrava, Manapla, EB Magalona, Murcia, Valladolid, San Enrique, Binalbagan, Isabela, Moises Padilla, Hinobaan, and Pontevedra, and the cities of Sagay, Cadiz, Victorias, and La Carlota.

The activity was spearheaded by the Special Programs and Concerns Division under Engr. Jose Maria Amugod./WDJ
