A 43-year-old man was shot to death last Tuesday afternoon at Sitio Winaswasan, Barangay Bandila in Negros Occidental’s Toboso town.

Toboso police identified the victim as Dionie Dada, a resident of the village’s Sitio Canubgan. He sustained multiple gunshot wounds on the body and died on the spot, police added.

Police investigation revealed that Dada was at his farm house when three armed men arrived. The victim then ran away but suspects chased and shot him. The suspects quickly fled after the incident.

Four empty shells of a 5.56mm-caliber firearm were recovered from the crime scene.
