The fourth most wanted person in Victorias City, Negros Occidental was arrested at Hacienda Binanlutan in the city’s Barangay 20 at around 11:45 a.m. yesterday.

Victorias City Police Station chief, Police Lieutenant Colonel Eduardo B. Corpuz, identified the suspect as 35-year-old Mike John Balladares of the said village.

Officers of the Victorias City Police Station and Provincial Highway Patrol Team arrested Balladares through the strength of an arrest warrant for three counts of rape in relation to Republic Act 7610 issued by Judge Leonardo B. Facultad Jr. of the Regional Trial Court – Branch 69 in Silay City dated September 6, 2021.

Police said Balladares was accused of raping a 16-year-old girl.

The suspect was detained at the Victorias City Police Station.

No bail was recommended for his temporary liberty./WDJ
