Seven persons were arrested following a drug buy-bust operation at San Juan Bonifacio in Barangay 5, San Carlos City, Negros Occidental around 2:10 p.m. on Sunday.
Authorities identified the arrested as Ruel Emnace, 31; Ruel Rebadomia, 36; Joseph Mag-aso, 30; Johnny Amagan, 39; John Mark Pañe, 21; Arvie Mahilum, 29; and Harvey Señora.
Officers of the San Carlos City Police Station confiscated one heat-sealed sachet of suspected shabu as a buy-bust item from Emnace, eight sachets of suspected shabu, three cell phones, and other drug paraphernalia.
The suspects were detained at the San Carlos City Police Station and charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. /WDJ
