Another generous stakeholder showed its support to the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) COVID-19 spread prevention and control efforts by donating a big canopy for the BCPO personnel manning the established border quarantine control checkpoint.
OUTDOOR Master, Inc., a private business entity in Bacolod City, donated to the BCPO border quarantine control checkpoint located in the corner of Banga Ruins, Talisay City-Bacolod boundary, a well-assembled canopy for the use of the PNP personnel manning the said place.
With its wide size and height, the canopy can perfectly cover the allotted space for shelter for personnel manning the police checkpoint who stay in the same spot since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic last year.
The BCPO, through city director, Police Col. Manuel A. Placido, sincerely acknowledge the support of Mr. Raymond Dabao, owner/proprietor of Outdoormaster, as the latter understand the need for a well-assembled canopy for the police personnel as front liners in the fight against the spread of Covid-19 to take shelter especially at night and when heavy rains pours while guarding the entrance and exit of the city border.
This act of support given by a samaritan stakeholder to the BCPO simply manifested that the community member/stakeholder is trusting and appreciating our personnel’s sacrifices to keep the community safe not just from criminals but from contagious disease as well.
With this samaritan act, the men and women of BCPO are thankful and deeply inspire knowing that people in the community also look out for their safety and welfare./WDJ
