Dynamic Herb Cebu City Football Club will not be a push over when it makes its debut in the 2021 Philippines Football League (PFL) as it will parade a mixture of experienced and young football players.
Daniel Gadia and Nicolas Ferrer, formerly of Stallion Laguna Football Club, and Nathaniel Villanueva, previously of Kaya Futbol Club-Iloilo, will spearhead the Cebu City-based football club.
Also in the roster are former collegiate standouts Kintaro Miyagi and Jack Zambrano of University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons, Mauro Acot of De La Salle University and Steven Patalinghug and John Roy Melgo of the University of San Carlos.
The Cebu City-based team is to be reinforced by foreigners Jamal Mesbahi from Yemen, Kore Koremaruis of Cote d’Ivoire, Mohamed Soumah of Guinea, Emman Ekundhaiyur of Nigeria, and Ren Okuda of Japan.
Completing the Dynamic Herb lineup are local players in Ilonggo Jaime Rosquillo, Rapi Llorente, Ranulfo Colina, Keenen Cergneux, Lorenzo Genco, Ian Miranda, Michael Pacite, Baris Tasci, Yoji Selman, and Evren Tasci.
Serving as head coach for Dynamic Herb is Cebuano Oliver Colina, formerly of Kaya Futbol Club-Iloilo, with Alex Ballesteros, Rose Ton Barinan and Ref Cuaresma serving as his assistants.
The recent grant of provisional license by the Philippine Football Federation (PFF) paved the way for the team’s participation in the PFL, which was moved to a later date due to COVID-19 pandemic.
The club has also already completed the additional requirements asked by the PFL and is now awaiting the final decision of the PFF for it to go full blast in their preparations./ASC, WDJ
