Police arrested a 41-year-old man tagged as No. 3 most wanted person in Negros Occidental’s Cauayan town.

Rowell Tecson was nabbed at his house in Sitio Indangawan, Barangay Manlucahoc in Sipalay City around 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 10.

Joint operatives of the 2nd NOCPMFC Tracker Team, Cauayan Police Station, Sipalay City Police Station, Police Intelligence Unit-NOCPPO, 604th Mobile Company, RMFB6, 15IB, and Regional Intelligence Unit 6 arrested the suspect through the strength of an arrest warrant for the crime of murder issued by Judge Rodney Magbanua of the Regional Trial Court – Branch 61 in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental dated July 27, 2017.

According to Police Corporal  Mark Joy A Conlu, investigator on case, Tecson was the suspect in a shooting incident using a .357 revolver on July 2015 in Sto. Baslay, Barangay Talacdan in Cauayan.

Tecson was detained at the Cauayan Police Station.

No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./WDJ
