Nine Negros Occidental-based volleyball players are set to suit up in the 2021 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Open Conference, which will start this Saturday, July 17, at the PCV Socio Civic and Cultural Center in Bacarra, Ilocos Norte. 
PLDT Home Fibr Power Hitters is bannered by La Carlota, Negros Occidental-native opposite hitter Christine Joy Soyud and Talisay City, Negros Occidental-based middle blocker Katherine Villegas.
Choco Mucho Flying Titans, meanwhile, also has two Negrense volleybelles in its roster in Bacolodnon libero Dancel Dusaran and Bacolonon outside hitter Kassandra Marie Gequillana.
Bali Pure Purest Water Defenders, for its part, is led by Bacolodnon open hitter Patty Jane Orendain and Pontevedra, Negros Occidental-native middle blocker Geneveve Casugod.
Other Negrense volleybelles are Escalante City, Negros Occidental-native outside hitter Jonah Sabete of Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors, Bacolodnon outside hitter Fille Cainglet-Cayetano of Creamline Cool Smashers and Bacolodnon setter Maria Arielle Estrañero of Cignal HD Spikers.
Other teams competing in the PVL bubble are Black Mamba-Army Lady Troopers, Perlas Spikers, Cherry Tiggo 7 Pro Crossovers, and Petro Gazz Angels./ASC, WDJ
