The grand opening started with a short message from Silay City Mayor Mark Golez followed by a blessing rites of the store. also present in the event were Merzci CEO and President Jonathan Manuel Lo, Councilor Lyndon Bernardo, Councilor Ryan Gamboa, and Mayor Golez’s wife Ann Azcona-Golez.

Silaynons enjoyed the Buy 1+1 Free promo on selected Merzci products during the grand opening. Merzci Silay 4 branch will carry a wide variety of pasalubong treats like biscocho, butterscotch, piaya, barquillos, assorted tarts, Merzci Cakes, and the mouth-watering hot piaya.
