A senior citizen was injured when a sport utility vehicle (SUV) hit her on Tuesday in Barangay Ungka II, Pavia, Iloilo.

Police said 61-year-old Albert Abatay, a resident of the town’s Parc Regency Subdivision, sustained body injuries and was brought to the Iloilo St. Paul’s Hospital in Iloilo City.

The victim was crossing the road when she was accidentally hit by an SUV driven by 80-year-old Greg Samson Montinola of Iloilo City’s Jaro district.

Montinola  may face charges for reckless imprudence resulting to frustrated homicide./WDJ
