A guest relation officer (GRO) was wounded after she was stabbed multiple times by her client inside a lodging house located in Bacolod City’s Barangay Taculing late Wednesday night.

Police have requested not to identify the 37-year-old female victim, but affirmed she was a resident of the city’s Purok San Miguel in Barangay Sum-ag.

Police Major Leo Estopa, Police Station 6 commander, said based on their investigation the victim and the still unidentified male suspect had a disagreement over their transaction.

The suspect then allegedly stabbed the victim multiple times with a steel rod. The suspect then hurriedly exited the lodging house in a tricycle, leaving behind the victim who was later found by the room boy.

The victim was rushed to the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital for treatment.

Police are currently checking the closed circuit television footage of the establishment in an attempt to identify the suspect./DGB, WDJ
