Charged with two counts of rape, a 19-year-old lad was arrested in Manapla, Negros Occidental on Tuesday morning.

EB Magalona Police Station OIC Captain Eric Doronila identified the suspect as Rene Demecino, a resident of Hacienda TCG in Barangay San Isidro, EB Magalona.

Police nabbed Demecino through the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Dyna Doll Tiongson-Trocio of the Regional Trial Court – Branch 40 in Silay City dated May 17, 2021.

As of this writing, the suspect was detained at the EB Magalona Police Station./WDJ
