A suspected drug pusher was arrested following a buy-bust operation conducted by operatives of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Negros Occidental and San Carlos City Police Station at Ylaga Ext. in San Carlos City’s Barangay 5 on Sunday, March 14.

PDEA agents identified the arrested as Erlinda “Inday” Escobar Palabrica, a resident of the said place.

Based on information released by PDEA-Negros Occidental, Palabrica was arrested after they received a text message via the PDEA’s “Isumbong Mo kay Wilkins!” platform, informing them of the suspect’s drug activities.

Authorities confiscated more or less five grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P34,000.

PDEA agents are now preparing drug-related charges against Palabrica, who is presently detained at the San Carlos City Police Station./DGB, WDJ
