San Carlos City PNP continues infodemic drive

Members of the San Carlos City Police Station held an infodemic drive on COVID-19 Awareness Response and Empowerment (CARE) on Tuesday at Barangay Prosperidad Multi-Purpose Center.

At least 76 individuals consisting of barangay officials, health workers, nutrition scholars, tanods, and a midwife participated in the activity which focused on BIDA Solusyon sa COVID-19, a campaign of the Department of Health (DOH) that aims to change people’s behavior in the fight against the coronavirus.

The objective of the activity is to raise awareness and correct wrong information about COVID-19, help fight the virus and ensure safety of families within the community.

Police Staff Sgt. Mark Marmito served as the resource person during the activity.

Moreover, Police Master Sgt. Marlon Amorsolo discussed Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and its salient provisions including ill effects and penalties for violation./WDJ
