After seeing its once 14-point edge turned into a 106-105 deficit, Harris converted a two-pointer from a pass by Seth Curry to give the 76ers a 107-106 upperhand with three seconds left.

With no more timeouts remaining, Lakers forward Anthony Davis was forced to launch a three-pointer from beyond midcourt but to no avail as Philadelphia escaped with the win.

Harris finished the match with 24 points to go along with seven rebounds as the 76ers remained on top of Eastern Conference standings with 13-6 win-loss record.

Meanwhile, Brooklyn Nets leaned on Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and James Harden in the overtime period as they cruised to a 132-128 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.

The Nets surged to a 127-121 upperhand in the extension period with back-to-back layups by Irving and conversions from Durant. The Hawks rallied to within 126-129 but free throws by Harden and Durant sealed the win for Brooklyn.
