A native of Manapla town in Negros Occidental was arrested in a drug buy-bust operation at Barangay MV Hechanova in Iloilo province’s Leganes town on Friday afternoon.

Police identified the suspect as 43-year-old Dindo Trinilla of Manapla town’s Barangay San Pablo.

Officers of the Leganes Police Station confiscated six sachets of suspected shabu, including a buy-bust item, with a street value of P20,000.

Trinilla was detained at the Leganes Police Station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
