A female call center agent and her companion were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Boulevard in Iloilo City’s Molo district around 4:10 p.m. on Sunday, January 10.

Mandurriao police confiscated five sachets of suspected shabu worth P5,200 from suspects identified as 26-year-old Gio Montelibano of R. Mapa Street, Barangay Tabucan, Mandurriao district and 29-year-old call center agent Jerrevel Gregorio of Barangay North Baluarte, Molo.

Montelibano and Gregorio were detained at the Mandurriao Police Station and charged in violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
