A 32-year-old man was hacked by his brother in Barangay Mocillas, Tubungan, Iloilo 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 20.

Arnel Ellama was recuperating at the Rep. Pedro Trono Memorial Hospital in Guimbal town.

Tubungan police said Romeo Ellama and the victim were having a drinking session when an altercation ensued between them, which led to hacking.

Romeo was detained at the Tubungan Police Station, facing frustrated parricide charges./WDJ
