Isabela town’s murder suspect was arrested in Ilog town’s Barangay Galicia on November 12 after 10 years of hiding from the police.

Isabela police led by Police Captain Joseph Partidas and officers of the Provincial Intelligence Unit, Ilog Police Station, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, and 604th Regional Mobile Force Battalion arrested 32-year-old Rico Tabanao alias “Okong” of Barangay Sebucawan, Isabela.

Tabanao was nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant for the crime of two counts of murder issued by Judge Francisco Rodriquez of the Regional Trial Court – Branch-63 in La Carlota City dated December 29, 2010.

He was detained in the custodial facility of the Isabela Police Station.

The court recommended no bail for the suspect’s temporary liberty./WDJ
