A man was arrested following a buy-bust operation around 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10, in Barangay Patun-an, Calatrava, Negros Occidental.

Authorities identified the suspect as 42-year-old Danny Pabalate, a resident of the village’s Sitio Tabugok.

Calatrava police chief, Police Major Roberto Indiape, Jr., said they confiscated three heat-sealed sachets of suspected shabu including a buy-bust item valued at P6,800 and P500 buy-bust money.

The suspect was detained at the Calatrava Police Station and charged with violation of RA 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./WDJ
