Ten sachets of suspected shabu valued at P6,800 were seized in a buy-bust operation 12:30 p.m. on Monday, November 2, at Purok 2 in Kabankalan City’s Barangay 6.

Kabankalan City police said 24-year-old Rex Gonzales, a tricycle driver of Purok Omelis in Barangay Poblacion, Cauayan town; 42-year-old Antonio Pineda of Cauayan; 31-year-old Jeyric Casuyon Phase 4, Sitio Overflow in Kabankalan City’s Barangay Hilamonan yielded the suspected illegal drugs.

Police also confiscated P500 buy-bust money, P1,038 cash and other drug paraphernalia.

The suspects were detained in the custodial facility of the Kabankalan City police station.

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./WDJ
