A man facing rape charges was collared in Talisay City’s Barangay Matab-ang last Wednesday.

Authorities identified the suspect as Wilmar Doria Pasante alias “Leo” of the city’s Barangay Patag.

Joint elements of Provincial Intelligence Unit, Silay City and Talisay City police stations, Regional Intelligence Unit 6, and 1st Negros Occidental Provincial Mobile Force Company NOCPMFC served Pasante’s arrest warrant issued by Judge Dyna Doll Chiongson-Trocio of the Regional Trial Court-Branch 40 in Silay City dated October 9, 2019

The suspect is now detained at the Silay City Police Station. No bailbond was recommended for his temporary liberty./DGB, WDJ
