The Cauayan Municipal Health Office (MHO) was slammed over the weekend after one of their administrators for their official social media page made rude remarks to an inquiring individual via Facebook Messenger.

Cauayan Mayor John Rey Tabujara ordered an investigation over the rude remarks made by one of the administrators of the Facebook page of Cauayan Municipal Health Office. (Aksyon Radyon Bacolod photo)

In a social media account made by Enkei James Perono Salvacion, he posted a screenshot showing the local health office rudely discriminating one of their residents who was only asking where he could get a special pass in order for him to travel back and forth between Cauayan and Bacolod City.

The Cauayan MHO immediately issued a statement on their social media page, apologizing for the unprofessional manner of response made by one of their administrators.

“We apologize sincerely to the public, and will take action on the mistakes done,” the post stated.

The local health office is also asking for understanding as the office is currently busy attending to the other health programs aside from the Covid-19 issues, which is also causing delays in the answering of queries.

Meanwhile, Cauayan town Mayor John Rey Tabujara had already ordered an investigation, and stated that he hopes the incident will never happen again./DGB, WDJ
