Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson urged the Bacolod City government to keep the main highways open.
“Even under the enhanced quarantine there are exemptions,” the governor explained. “Cargo should continue.”
“One member of a household will be given a pass to buy food and medicines,” he added.
The governor suggested keeping Lacson and Araneta Streets, along with all national highways, open.
He also said to protect local roads.
With regard to delays in the delivery of goods, Lacson said, “Checkpoints should be inside cities and municipalities.”/DGB, WDJ
