Both the Megaworld Corporation and Cristina Lee Dino Foundation donated goods to Bacolod City in order to combat the coronavirus disease, or Covid-19. The two organizations provided rubbing alcohol, facemasks, goggles, gloves, and personal protective equipment.
“We would like to extend our help to the people of Bacolod during this challenging time, especially to our healthcare frontliners working in hospitals and local health centers there,” said Megaworld chief strategy officer Kevin Andrew L. Tan.
The development firm provided the city with 1,000 liters of disinfectant alcohol and 5,000 surgical facemasks.
The firm also said they will be providing grocery packs for construction workers at their local projects.
Meanwhile, 50 bottles of ethyl alcohol, 100 goggles, five boxes of gloves, and 100 units of personal protective equipment were provided to the city by the Cristina Lee Dino Foundation.
The supplies will be distributed to six different hospitals./WDJ
