Adamson, UST crowned UAAP girls’ basketball co-champs

With the 82nd UAAP girls’ basketball season cancelled due to ongoing concerns surrounding the coronavirus disease, or Covid-19, Adamson University and the University of Santo Tomas (UST) were named co-champions. Prior to the season being suspended, the two were supposed to play a decider after splitting the first two games of their championship series.
UST took Game 1 with a 73-68 win; while Adamson won Game 2, 79-74.
Meanwhile, National University won the boys’ basketball tournament after sweeping Far Eastern University in the finals./ASC, WDJ
