The ground floor of a three-story building in Barangay West Timawa, located in Iloilo City’s Molo district, was razed by a fire yesterday morning.
According to authorities, the fire started at 6:56 a.m. on the ground floor of the St. Jude Tadeos building, which is owned by Hernando Zerrudo and houses coffee and milk tea shops.
Meanwhile, the second floor, which serves as a boarding house, was partially damaged.
The Bureau of Fire Protection continues to investigate the cause of fire.
