Twin brothers were stabbed Thursday evening at Purok Kalubihan in Sipalay City’s Barangay Cartagena leaving one dead and the other wounded. Authorities identified the fatality as 35-year-old Joemar Salibio while his brother Joemart sustained stab wounds to his right arm.
Police investigations revealed Joemar was sleeping in a nipa hut owned by Mamerta Lasaga while Joemart was having his dinner when the suspect, identified as 47-year-old Nilo Galanido, arrived armed with a knife and stabbed the sleeping sibling as the victim’s brother tried to rescue him.
